About The Owner

My name is Amanda Tejeda, a mama of two, a follower of Christ, and a firm believer in creating an alternative way to schooling. Dedicating majority of her life to the studies of children, she graduated with her bachelors in arts, studying communication with an emphasis in journalism, a minor in biblical studies, and a masters in organizational leadership. The mission of our academy is to teach servant leadership among the youth to create wholesome individuals that have the ability to impact the environments around them.

About The School

The Monarch Academy- Learning in Pods specialized in small group learning in an outdoor setting. Each day is filled with circle time, learning activities, arts & crafts, and organized play. We believe that children should have the freedom to express themselves in healthy ways to better approach their specific academic needs to prepare them for the years of schooling ahead. We want the Monarch Academy to serve as a foundation for their education and life, a place they feel safe, secure, and confident in. When they leave the academy, we hope they open their wings and fly into the unlimited opportunities that lie ahead for them.
